Measuring belts: How to find the right belt size
Not sure which belt size to order? In just a few simple steps, you can measure your belt length and choose the right size.
How to measure your belt
Take a belt that fits you well and lay it out completely flat on a level surface. Place a tape measure next to it.Always measure from the buckle to the middle belt loop – i.e. number 3 in the top photo – whilst in the bottom photo, the finger indicates the end point of the measurement. This is exactly how we specify belt lengths for our products.
Step by step
- Place the belt straight next to the tape measure.
- Place the tape measure against the buckle.
- Measure along the belt to the belt loop you normally use.
- Read the measurement in centimetres.
- Then select the belt size that corresponds to this measurement.
The belt length given is not the total length of the belt. It refers to the measurement from the buckle to the middle hole. This is important so that you can compare the sizes of different belts correctly.
As a belt has several holes, you can adjust the length afterwards. This means our belts offer you several centimetres of leeway.
Quickly find your belt size
For example, if your measurement is 95 cm, choose a belt with a stated length of 95 cm.This makes it easy to determine your belt size without having to consult complicated size charts or make conversions.
In short: fasten the buckle → measure to the desired hole → select the correct belt size.
