- Upper: Organic Traced suede (O.T.)
- Laces made from 100% recycled polyester
- Lining made from 100% recycled polyester
- Insole made from bio-based EVA (40%, of which 32% is sugar cane), Amazonian rubber (28%), recycled EVA (7%), organic cotton (5%), mineral carbonate (13%) and other materials (7%)
- Durable outsole (vulcanised) made from Amazonian rubber (50%), mineral silica (26%), synthetic rubber (5%) and other materials (19%)

The O.T. (Organic Traced) leather comes from 100% certified organic farms in Uruguay, a country renowned for its livestock farming and the quality of its leather. It is the softest and finest of our leathers, sourced from cattle. This type of leather undergoes a mechanical buffing process that makes it fine and supple. As it is tanned in Brazil, fewer dyes are used than with our conventional cowhide. VEJA uses conventional dyes that comply with legal regulations. Particular attention is paid to water usage during the tanning process.

The suede is made from the underside of cowhide, which has been brushed beforehand to make it softer and more supple. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil without the use of hazardous or banned chemicals. VEJA uses conventional dyes that comply with regulations. Particular attention is paid to water consumption during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils free from PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the trainers from light rain.
